Kühtai

A valley like a nature park, the mountains close enough to touch, sunshine and skiing at up to 2.500 m (8,200 ft): Discover one of the most impressive regions of the Tyrol!

A winter vacation in the Sellrain Valley leaves nothing to be desired. A wide variety of slopes, well-maintained cross-country ski runs and hiking paths, off piste adventures, fun toboggan runs – enjoy our varied sports opportunities. On top of all those activities, our villages offer culinary delights and more for après ski-fun! The location is also ideal for trips to the sights of Innsbruck and the surrounding area.

Can't get enough of sledging, downhill or cross-country skiing during the day? Enjoy the Sellrain Valley's night-time activities…

In summer the  valley is a hiker's paradise in the middle of the Stubai Alps, boasting more than 25 peaks in the range above 2000 m (approx. 6500ft) and 20 summits which are higher than 3000m (approx. 9800ft)!

The Sellrain Valley has more than 380 km/236 miles of hiking paths. Nature lovers can explore a huge variety of hiking possibilities, following mountain streams or leading up to mountain lakes. Whether you want to take a simple walk, want to enjoy a hike to one of the many lodges and chalets or plan on climbing one of the challenging summits, there is something to be found for everyone.

There's no mass tourism in the Sellrain Valley: Savour the fresh air and the peaceful beauty of the valley. If you prefer to hike with company, take part in one of our free guided hiking tours (from the beginning of June to the end of September).
