Oga

Oga is a small village in the mountains (altitude 1500 m above sea level), in the middle of wide forest of conifers and surrounded by the most beautiful peaks of the central alps. Little more than 300 inhabitants live there steadily. After the difficulties in the seventies and eighties today one can notice an interesting revival: a lot of young poeple choose to stay and live in Oga where they set up house, family and business, too. The reopening and the expansion of the ski-area will certainly do nothing but good for Oga.

What is there to do at Oga? First of all: rest up, take in the sun, walk in the woods filling your lungs with the pine fragrance in the human-free stillness, or contemplating the crests that crown the Upper Valley. Follow the intinerary by clicking on the suggested categories and you will see that there is loads to do at Oga and they are all in one way or another funky or useful, and interesting for sure.

However; other sports are up-and-coming: telemark skiiing, snowboard, and ice-sports...
