Lizzola

The Lizzola ski resort is high up in Val Seriana and is one of the more interesting smaller resorts in the Bergamo area.

For long periods of the year, snow lies deep on the slopes of the mountains surrounding Lizzola-Valbondione. During these months, skiing conditions are always perfect, with powdery snow at high altitudes - on the downhill pistes, which are suitable for all levels of ability - and down in the valley, on the cross-country trails.

Valbondione, therefore, is a complete winter resort, with the capacity to host competitive events of the highest level. Given its geographical position, at the foot of a mountain plateau with peaks rising to three thousand metres and interspaced with gullies and snowfields, Lizzola-Valbondione offers ample opportunities for ski mountaineering.

Cross country skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing are available on pistes of various difficulty, with guaranteed artificial snow meaning that skiing is possible well into spring, thanks also to the fact that the pistes face north towards a stunning panorama of the highest peaks in the Bergamo Orobie.
