Val Gardena-Groeden Ski Hotel Guide - Ski accommodation

Val Gardena-Groeden

In Val Gardena there are 175 km of slopes and 98 km of cross-country slopes. The uphill transportation devices are 83, (a part of 500km interconnected slopes surrounding the Sella Group).

In addition Val Gardena is part of the "Dolomiti Superki", the biggest "ski carussel " of the Alps with more than 450 uphill transportation devices and more than 1220 km of slopes. 90% of our ski slopes, representing 1.100 km, are complete with a programmed snowmaking facility which guarantees wonderful skiing conditions throughout the entire season.

Snowboarding on white gold.
Design long curves on the slopes, jump, kick up the powdered snow, feel the snow crystals on your skin. The Dolomites in front of you. The white slope beneath your board. Laugh and have fun. Enjoy life with the crew. Snowboarding in the Dolomites means redefining the mountains, it means live piste experiences with a new dimension.

Endless distance & cross-country trails
Val Gardena is a special treat for cross-country skiers: the Vallunga in Selva Gardena, the Monte Pana in S. Cristina and the Alpe di Siusi offer an unique, fantastic panorama. The valley, which offers more than 98 km of well-prepared cross-country ski runs in all degrees of difficulty, can be described as the eldorado for cross-country skiers. Crystal-clear air, in snow covered meadows and forests, the impressive Dolomite mountains: come and discover a little cross-country paradise!

Huts & Après-Ski in Val Gardena
After all, especially the breaks make skiing so very enjoyable, like a drink of tea or a hot grog in one of the warm and snuggy ski lodges. Then back on your skis, and waltzing down one of the many finely groomed slopes!

"Après" is the word for an evening spent with new friends in a unique atmosphere, an evening with local dishes and South Tyrolean wine, an evening to let your hair down, with swinging music and songs in the traditional style of the valley.
