Jaunpass-Boltigen

The Jaunpass is the only link from the Gruyère region into the Simmental.

 

Jaunpass - Boltigen in the Bernese Oberland region is a small ski resort with just three ski lifts and two lifts for children, but it does boast a very impressive 987 metres of vertical descent. Jaunpass - Boltigen has 20 kilometers of slopes. There are 2 x 15 kilometers of cross country ski trails and for snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. The winter hiking paths is 6 km long and 2 kms of it are illuminated until 10.00 pm.

The classic style cross country ski run is a deversified, 15 km long run at 1508 meters above sea level. Another 15 km run is prepared for skating style. The starting point for both cross country ski runs is only 3 minutes from the parking lot of the Jaunpass camp ground.
