Avers in Switzerland is a very small ski resort with just three ski lifts (surface) but it does boast a very impressive 637 metres of vertical descent. Avers has 247 acres of terrain with pistes having a total length of 12 kilometers. Avers is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 14 kilometers of cross country ski trails at Avers. For snowboarders, there is a half pipe.
